Creating a Wiki: Serenad

Hello my dear viewers!

Today I will be writing about how to create wiki pages and my first experience on creating a wiki page.  

This week in our Educational Technologies class we learned how to create a wiki page and asked to create one by our teacher. My first impressions in creating a wiki page were it must be hard but fun. It happened so as it was not easy to review a book and try to remember it. In my opinion, the most challenging part was ‘why you should read the book’ part as I had to think about questions which should take readers’ attention.

The First Podcast of Mine: Changing The World

Hello my dear viewers!      

Today I am here with a different subject. Today we will talk about podcasts and their effects in lessons of language classes and in the end I will let you listen my first podcast.

Firstly, I think podcasting is something very entertaining and constructive for both teachers and students. Teachers or people who are trying to prepare a podcast will improve their skills in speaking and also writing while writing what they are going to talk about. Likewise, students improve their listening skills and they do something different than just studying grammar which might help them to like and focus more on English classes.

Lets go on with my experiences and thoughts about it. I firstly didn’t like the idea of preparing a podcast and talking in front of a voice recorder but I enjoyed it after I learned how to do it and began to prepare one. I wasn’t very hard for me to find something to write and talk about but the recording part was the hardest part of it. After some bad recordings, I finally liked one and decided to use it. The outcome wasn’t very satisfactory but not bad for the first time.

Educational Technologies class is going on leading me to learn different techniques of using technology in class which I will try to use in my future classes.

Now I will leave you with my first podcast on “Changing the world” subject.

Kids and tricks of 21st Century Technology

Hello my dear viewers!

 Technology in 21st century should be used effectively in our classes. As teachers of future we should learn how to use technology in our lessons creatively and beneficially for pedagogic purposes. Today’s children are born into this technology because of the improvements in cell phones, computers etc. So they are “native” to it, so we call them “ digital natives”. These children should be taught to use this technology for their own sake so that they should take advantage of it as it might be disadvantage for them if they use it wrong. By using effective activities we should let children to explore and design things. We can help them to create a youtube channel or a blog. Even, we can create a blog which students and their parents can use and attend. By teachers’ guidance we can help those students to be multi-task people whose Global awareness are in good condition. Technology in this century can be a very good advantage in teaching if it is used correctly.
